Retin-A Gel is the acid form of vitamin A commonly applied to treat acne vulgaris and keratosis pilaris. There are 0.01% 20g tube and 0.025% 10g tube.

Dosage and direction

Apply gel on clean dry face. Spread it evenly over the treated areas of skin. Avoid applying gel on irritated skin.
It may take 6-9 weeks to see the effect.

Contraindications

Retin-A Gel should not be used by patients having demonstrated a reaction of hypersensitivity to it.

Drug interactions

Before taking Accutane tell your doctor or chemist of all prescription and non-prescription medicines you are taking.
Retin-A Gel should not be used with:

  • benzoyl peroxide
  • salicylic acid
  • tetracycline
  • sulfa drugs.

Missed dose
